Melissa Mistry is a fifth-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Though she has already been studying there for a year, so strictly speaking, she is no longer a new student.
In that short year of school, she has been through plenty of thrilling adventures and formed deep friendships with professors, classmates, and even a good fairy. There have been regrets, but she has gained much more.

She opens and closes her eyes, and suddenly she is an eleven-year-old orphan in 1991. On the table in front of her lies an acceptance letter from Hogwarts, while outside the door, a timid child tells her that some strange man has come to see her.

Dumbledore arrives at the orphanage.
