If your head cannot roll to your lover's feet, then it is a burden on your shoulders.
- Herzen, My Past and Thoughts
A mad, world-destroying, lovesick evil god x a beautiful female lead who maxes out sweet talk and verbal sparring
Her company on the verge of bankruptcy, her parents having betrayed her, her boyfriend having dumped her, and her best friend in prison in her place, Lin Shu stood on a rooftop, despairing between life and death, when she was unexpectedly chosen by a System.
System: Your mission is to save the world and stop Him from destroying it.
(Heart dead) Lin Shu: I might as well jump.
System: The reward is a hundred million.
(Hope rekindled) Lin Shu: I'll give it a try.
To stay alive, Lin Shu had no choice but to win over this god.
A beautiful new player appeared in the game. Everyone thought she would crash and burn from the start, but who knew she would be the ultimate winner?
Humanity's greedy desires gave birth to a god.
Worshipped with incense offerings and kept high above the world, the god grew polluted and twisted amid humanity's endless desires, eventually falling into depravity and becoming an evil god.
This ugly, wretched world, riddled with sin, deserved to be destroyed.
But... why... was she different from those greedy humans?
"I only hope that the god is happy every day."
The girl prayed sincerely. The evil god bent down to gaze at her from on high.
"You... you can only be mine, understand? If anyone gets close to you, I'll make them pay."
"No one can take you away, not even death."
