After I Hypnotized the Aloof Top Student

At the end of his sophomore year, Yan Xingyou brought home yet another failing report card.

His father was furious and laid down ten rules: if Yan Xingyou could complete every one, he would get a Harley-Davidson CVO.

The first rule was to pass the College English Test Band 4.

Yan Xingyou set his sights on Wen Shixu.

Wen Shixu was a freshman, a bona fide top student with a stack of certificates of merit nearly six feet tall. He had already started an internship at his family's company, and his future looked bright.

The only problem was his bad temper and cold demeanor. Their families had been equally famous in their circle for over a decade, but the two of them had never crossed paths.

His friends suggested Yan Xingyou try appealing to Wen Shixu's softer side, but Yan Xingyou was used to being treated like royalty. He couldn't bring himself to grovel.

So he went online and paid a fortune for a hypnotic pocket watch.

--

Wen Shixu had received an elite education since childhood. Every step he took was meticulously planned, making him like a precision instrument that could never go wrong.

He knew of Yan Xingyou, whose bold, carefree ways drew everyone's attention.

As expected, he and a spoiled playboy like that would never have anything to do with each other.

Until Yan Xingyou appeared in front of him, swinging a crudely made pocket watch in his hand.

"Wen Shixu, you will do as I say."

Wen Shixu's heart gave a heavy thump. "...I'll do as you say."

--

A year later, Yan Xingyou got his Harley, just as he'd hoped. The pocket watch that had done so much for him was tossed into the sea.

He thought his connection with Wen Shixu had ended there, too.

But at his Harley's birthday party, Wen Shixu cornered him in the bathroom and demanded an explanation.

The cool, elegant young Mr. Wen tugged open his collar, revealing a conspicuous bite mark on his collarbone.

His beautiful face was full of hurt and restraint. "Does being hypnotized mean you don't have to take responsibility?"

Yan Xingyou frowned and dropped a bombshell. "But you were fully conscious, weren't you? We both wanted it, so what is there to take responsibility for?"
