{All-female world, in the past, present, and future. Everyone is free to worship the heavens!}

An unknown pollutant rose from the earth's surface, throwing the once-prosperous all-female world into crisis.

Countless creatures rapidly mutated into monstrous beasts. At the same time, ability users emerged from nowhere, guarding the world's last remaining spark of hope.

But Jiao Zhu neither had the misfortune of becoming a monstrous beast nor the glory of becoming an ability user.

She was just an ordinary civilian.

Someone who needed food and water, had to poop and pee, felt pain when injured, and could die if things got serious...

Oh, no. Anything but dying.

Unlike other civilians, no matter how badly she was injured, she would never die.

Aside from that, she was utterly ordinary.

A secret circulated among the people:

In the stretch between the contaminated zones and the safe zones, there was a goddess.

She had no fixed home and was hard to find.

But all it took was a steady supply of food...

and she would appear.

When you were attacked, she would come to your aid, using her own body to shield you from the blow;

she might even escort you all the way to a safe zone.

Selfless and giving, always putting others before herself.

As for those who never made it to a safe zone:

There are plenty of ways to die in a contaminated zone. Don't you dare slander our great goddess.

[Reader's Guide:]

1. As always, this is an all-female world. I bought the template cover in 2024, came up with the rough character concepts in 2024, and first posted the coming-soon page in 2024.

2. After talking with readers in 2025, I decided to try writing a truly wicked woman. But I always get tangled up when writing, so I'm not sure if I can pull off a genuine villainess.

3. The heroine's name comes from Yangzhou Slow: Famous City of Huaizuo, a poem I loved in high school. I'm so bad at naming that nobody might have noticed, so I'm pointing it out here.

4. This story takes place in a self-contained period. You don't need to have read my other works to enjoy it.

5. The setting is connected to Plain Grass, Spring Mountains, spanning the period between the First Monster Beast Rebellion and the Second Monster Beast Rebellion, as well as the Period of Partial Victory.

6. Some ancestors of characters from Plain Grass, Spring Mountains may appear. For example, the current plan is for this story's heroine to bring Pingwu to Ming Jianhong.
