The city government gave GCPD's computers a comprehensive upgrade. While clearing out the files, Gordon brought out a long-neglected collection that was still growing: letters from Gotham's citizens to Batman.
Gordon handed them all over to Batman.
There was a little girl thanking Batman for saving her mother, a bar owner thanking him for saving his younger brother, and a young punk thanking him for putting him in prison and giving him the chance to turn his life around.
“I don't know if you'll ever see this letter, but thank you anyway, Batman.”
Alongside those were a large bundle of letters with strange messages.
“Baatman, I cast my precious vote for you in the ‘Ultimate Daddy Showdown.’ You will always be the best daddy in my heart. Please adopt me QAQ”
What was the Ultimate Daddy Showdown?
“I really want a Lego Batman, sob sob sob. I really want a fairy Batman in a little pink dress.”
When had he given Lego permission to make those? And what kind of weird taste was this fairy Batman thing...
“Batman, Batman, you're an adorable little kitty. Hee hee hee, let me pet you, let me sniff you, ”
A-a little kitty?
“Well, at this point, why can't Baatman get together with Daredevil? Bale and Ben have both played Batman, anyway.”
First, Batman has never authorized any screen adaptations. Second, Batcomputer, search the whole world for men named Bale and Ben. Finally, add Daredevil to the investigation list.
The letters were packed in a plain, unremarkable parcel, and more kept appearing out of nowhere. Batman inspected the package and every envelope with great care, confirming that they contained nothing but strange ramblings, each one a heartfelt expression of affection.

The blurb may still be revised.
Inspired by The Dark Knight Legends issues 7-9, “Letters to Batman.”
A lighthearted story. There should be spoilers from the letters, followed by a plotline where he saves the young heroes.
Theme: The power of love is infinite
