When the laws of the four seasons fall apart, mortals and gods embark on a fairy tale journey to defy fate and change the world.
The Spring God and the Winter Emperor, sworn enemies, are forced to join hands to save the world. One is spoiled and willful, the other gentle with a hidden edge. The two gods have no choice but to pretend to make peace as they search for a solution. As they spend their days and nights together, they gradually discover sides of each other no one else knows...
Spring Lord (seme)
The most spoiled and unrestrained god in the Four Seasons Sanctuary, who governs the revival of all things.
His catchphrase is "This lord is displeased," but in truth, he's afraid of the dark and being alone.
His weapon is a jade-green vine whip that can shatter glaciers, yet the Winter Emperor always dispels it with a single snowflake.
Winter Emperor (uke)
The god of winter, gentle and sacred on the surface, but cunning and vengeful underneath.
After Spring Lord once broke his beloved ice sculpture, he silently made it snow over Spring Lord's temple for three years.
The ice-crystal book he carries is filled with Spring Lord's "offenses," but the last page reads, "To be forgiven."
Spring Lord sneaks into the Winter Emperor's bedchamber at night to steal his blankets, only to be frozen into a snowman statue.
When tying Spring Lord's cloak, the Winter Emperor "accidentally" knots it so tightly it can't be undone.
As the last leaf falls from the Tree of Eternity, Spring Lord gives his life force to the Winter Emperor: "This time, let me protect you."
When the haughty Spring God discovers that the Winter Emperor's gentle trap has always left him a way out, and the final leaf falls from the Tree of Eternity, watch as the two gods defy life and death and create new laws.
