Trapped on a Snowy Mountain, Fed by a Snow Wolf

Ji Yingran was stranded in the snowy mountains and happened to pick up a wolf. The snow wolf had a coat as soft and fluffy as a waterfall, and golden eyes that glittered like a river of stars. More importantly, its fur felt so soft and warm that she couldn't bear to stop petting it. As luck would have it, the snow wolf felt the same way. It had found a human at the entrance to its den, and she was just pretty enough to suit its taste. It would keep her as a slave. Ji Yingran, of course, had no idea. She was too busy petting what she thought was a cat. No, a wolf. “Big, fluffy wolfie! So cute! I love you!” The snow wolf pulled its tail away and gave her a disdainful sidelong glance, letting out a threatening growl. But after she fell asleep, it would creep over again to nuzzle her cheek and neck, marking her with its scent. When the rescue team arrived, the snow wolf happened to be out. Ji Yingran left with them and was in such a hurry that she didn't even get the chance to say goodbye. She thought she might go back to visit someday, but somehow, more than half a year went by before she had the chance. Later, a new neighbor moved in next door. She had golden eyes and white hair, and was breathtakingly beautiful. The beauty was a pleasure to look at, but unfortunately, she wasn't very easy to get along with. Her gaze was especially unfriendly, and she always looked like someone who'd been callously abandoned after a fling. Ji Yingran wondered: Why does this new neighbor look a bit like my wolfie? Until one day, the beauty could hold back no longer and cornered her against the wall. “When you held me, you stroked my belly 179 times, my ears 188 times, my head 319 times, and my tail 407 times. “My scent was practically all over you. Where did you think you were going?” Ji Yingran stared in disbelief, then laughed. She'd actually kept count? This wolf was ridiculous… But soon, she wasn't laughing anymore. Trembling, she slumped against the wolf's shoulder, the corners of her eyes red and her thoughts scattered, learning her lesson the hard way. Apparently, you shouldn't go around petting wolves you find in the wild. “Didn't you love touching my tail? Why did you stop?” The snow wolf's eyes darkened. Her voice was husky as she whispered against Ji Yingran's ear. “Who said you could touch it with your hand…” [Tsundere, sharp-tongued snow wolf x gentle, straightforward human] Theme: Find hope in desperation and welcome the light
