He Always Wants to Redeem Me [Quick Transmigration]

Shen Qingjue is a minor character doomed to die in the novel Banxia. After his mother gets into trouble, his father and stepmother abuse him, and his half-brother bullies him repeatedly. He has nowhere to turn, at home or at school.

After being locked inside the house, missing the college entrance exam, and having his wrist maliciously injured, Shen Qingjue finally fights back and dies alongside the people who ruined his life.

Gu Bie, a new employee in the Redemption Department, is assigned to him as his very first mission target.

But no one told him that his target would be so cute and endearing.

All Shen Qingjue has to do is crook a finger, and Gu Bie is already utterly besotted.

-

Shen Qingjue has always known that, given his situation, getting back on his feet would be difficult.

And yet someone carefully makes their way into his life, asking whether he needs help and checking what might be making him uncomfortable.

One word or glance from Shen Qingjue is enough to make Gu Bie give him everything.

But Shen Qingjue knew from the moment he first saw him that Gu Bie had come with an ulterior motive.

So what?

Because of Gu Bie, he escaped his family and made the people who bullied him face the punishment they deserved.

He thought it was just a mutually beneficial arrangement. Even if feelings occasionally slipped through, they would still part ways in the end. He never expected that on the day the college entrance exams ended, the boy would blush and ask whether Shen Qingjue wanted to spend the rest of his life with him.

But Shen Qingjue had clearly heard the notification: [Mission Complete]. If so, why would Gu Bie say something like that?

With that question in mind, Shen Qingjue began dating Gu Bie, waiting as their lives passed through one decade, then two, then who knew how many.

At the end of his life, Shen Qingjue clasped Gu Bie's fingers and finally became certain that, to Gu Bie, he might have been more than just a mission.

When he opened his eyes again, he was in a world where only cultivators could exist, and had become a furnace destined to be offered to the Demon Lord.

With his wrists bound, Shen Qingjue considered whether he could cultivate to immortality and find Gu Bie. But then someone pushed open the window and door, and a handsome young sword cultivator leaped into the room.

The moment their eyes met, the young sword cultivator saw his lovely face and blushed. He stammered, "Y-young master, do you need help?"

"Please," Shen Qingjue said with a smile, offering him his bound hands, frail and helpless.

Even without his memories, Gu Bie had still come for him.
