In the New Era, 2071, the supreme leader of the resistance army and the Federation's most notorious wanted criminal was finally shot in the head during an inspection, his skull blown open, bringing his life of evil to an end.

Unfortunately, evil people live long. Five years later, Lu Shixin opened his eyes in a dim, foul-smelling slum.

Good news: He was alive.

Bad news: He had gone from a legendary figure of great renown to a broke nobody, a sickly weakling who would pass out after a few steps. He was not only saddled with an enormous debt, but also had a horde of street thugs howling as they chased him down.

No matter. As long as he was alive, anything was possible.

With that positive attitude, five-star citizen Lu Shixin tried to start over and swore to become a good person.

But things didn't go as planned. A few months later...

"Gunfights, organizing multiple gang wars, armed hijacking of transport vehicles, kidnapping corporate executives, the most influential leader in the settlement zone, king of the mercenaries in the underworld, a living legend of Wute City... That's you?"

Lu Shixin washed his enemy clean, put him back together, and turned him on again.

The enemy looked bewildered. "Who are you?"

Lu Shixin pinched his chin and, on a sudden whim, said, "Call me Dad."

But he hadn't expected his enemy to actually lower his head and softly say, "...Dad."

Lu Shixin: ??? What did you call me?

Enemy: Dad! (Very loudly.)

Lu Shixin, who had somehow become a father: ...

One day, Lu Shixin could no longer stand having a long-legged, slim-waisted grown man following right behind him and constantly calling him Dad.

He patted his big boy on the shoulder and said earnestly, "Don't call me Dad anymore. Let's be brothers!"

His big boy refused at once, then bit him hard.

Holding his bleeding lip, Lu Shixin couldn't help swearing. "Are you a dog?"

His big boy blinked, looking completely innocent. "I'm Daddy's little dog."

Lu Shixin: ...Damn.
