Qi Hanzhi is a sword cultivator whose dream is to ascend to immortality.
But fate had other plans.
Just as his ascension was at hand, the first heavenly thunderbolt struck, sending him to a hellish place where he couldn't understand the language, the magic was different, and there wasn't even a trace of spiritual energy!

A strange fellow has arrived at Samuel Magic Academy.
He always wears a blank expression and never speaks, responding with cold indifference to everyone's provocations, praise, and attempts to win him over.
The spells he occasionally uses are strange and unheard of, yet so powerful that they leave everyone trembling. Fortunately, he doesn't use them often.
No one knows just how strong he is.
"He must be a god who's come down to experience mortal life!"
"That cold gaze is his pity for us mortals!"
"He looked at me as if he could see right through me. It's terrifying!"
So say the teachers and students of the academy.
Everyone looks at Qi Hanzhi with awe and caution, afraid of angering this mysterious powerhouse.
Qi Hanzhi, tense and bewildered: "? What are they babbling about?"

Only Isaac is an exception.
This noble vampire, an arrogant genius, shows Qi Hanzhi intense hostility.
A provocative stare, a cutting tone, and relentless antagonism!
At least, that's how it seems to Qi Hanzhi.
Isaac, leaning closer: "Strange fellow, why don't you talk?"
Qi Hanzhi, gripping his sword: "Are you provoking me?"
Isaac, curious: "Strange fellow, what's the deal with your magic?"
Qi Hanzhi, drawing his sword: "Looking for a fight?"
Isaac, breaking down: "Why can't this guy understand a word anyone says?!"
It was a long time before Qi Hanzhi learned that the first words this haughty foreigner had said to him weren't a provocation at all. They were:
"You're quite special. Would you like to be friends?"
