My Revenge Plot Fell Apart

Xue Youyou once wrote herself the perfect revenge plot.

She planned every move, becoming the most obedient canary at Yang Feitang's side. She kept her head down and bided her time, all so she could drag that heiress from her lofty pedestal.

She always thought she held the strings and could pull them as she pleased.

Until the Yang family fell overnight, and the phoenix from on high crashed into the dirt.

Yang Feitang deleted every contact and left behind only one message: "We're even, in love and hate. Never see me again."

It was only through the days and nights after Yang Feitang vanished completely that Xue Youyou finally understood.

The pain was like having her flesh and bones torn away. It nearly killed her.

Later, at a press conference, someone asked the rising star Xue Youyou what the secret to her success was.

She smiled at the livestream camera, her expression light and inscrutable:

"I have Miss Yang to thank. She taught me well."

The room was stunned. No one knew what an unspeakable, intoxicating past lay behind that offhand word, "taught."

But this time, no matter how relentlessly Xue Youyou pressed her, Yang Feitang refused to fight back.

Tortured again and again by longing and resentment, Xue Youyou finally showed up with the old "kept woman" contract, planning to make a dignified farewell and settle things once and for all.

But when she saw Yang Feitang smiling brightly at another young woman from a distance, Xue Youyou lowered her head and laughed coldly. The contract in her hand tore apart with a snap.

She couldn't let go. Not one bit.

This revenge plot had gone completely out of control the moment she fell in love.
