[Western Crossover] The Demigod Profiler

This is a world that belongs to humanity.

The true gods have departed, and the mysterious has retreated into hiding. Humans no longer need to grovel at the feet of mighty beings, offering sacrifices and begging for mercy.

They can discover the laws that govern all things for themselves and create things greater than anything from the past, including new gods more worthy of worship.

The people of the new world have cast aside the old era, along with its old "gods."

But the gods have not cast them aside.

They still wander the mortal world in decline, drifting among the crowds, refusing to assimilate and unable to leave. All they can do is wait for the end to draw near.

Daphneus Williams is the child of an old god and a human.

After Gideon left, the BAU urgently needed new staff, and Agent Daphneus Williams joined the team under those circumstances.

This new member has excellent professional knowledge, extensive experience working cases, and outstanding social skills. He got up to speed quickly and soon fit right in with the whole team.

Outside of work, he happily shares gossip with his colleagues, offers fashion and dating advice, and even becomes the sole devoted audience for Reid's little science lessons, single-handedly freeing the other agents' woefully overtaxed brains.

He's a reliable partner and a good friend. Everyone agrees on that.

But as they spend more time with him, they gradually realize that behind the image of a dedicated, friendly agent lie far more complicated struggles, countless profound and chaotic secrets, and a world that is more real and cruel than they ever imagined.

A few things to know before reading:

1. The setting is mainly a mix of TV shows, novels, games, comics, and other works, with some original worldbuilding and changes to the background.

The English-language works featured here may be a little old or obscure, but I can't help loving them. I'd be even happier if I could get more people into them.

Don't worry if you haven't seen or read them. I'll do my best to make this understandable to everyone, so come take a look if you're interested!

2. The main focus is the plot, with romance as a garnish. The cases are original, and most of the story follows the BAU solving cases. Some cases may involve mysterious forces behind the scenes. Family, friendship, and romantic storylines unrelated to the cases generally develop between cases.

Theme: What defines us is not where we come from, but the choices we make.
