This is a story about a backwater cultivation sect. The sect is called Taoyuan. Its signature skill isn’t some astonishing sword technique or secret method of refining artifacts, but the art of growing vegetables. The disciples are good at nothing, except eating. The master is a vegetable farmer, the eldest disciple is a chef, the junior sister is a glutton, and the other junior disciples are either livestock or poultry. In this tumultuous world of immortals and demons, they seek neither peerless magic nor glory for their sect. They only want a pastoral life of food and drink. With five or six disciples by my side, how splendid! We’ll dance in the wind at the riverside, sing, and head home.
Premise: Taking it easy on the path to immortality leads to the Great Dao
