[Synopsis]
Qian Linlang's husband died, so she opened a tavern.
On the second day after opening, Linlang found a handsome man who had hit his head and damaged his brain. When he woke up, he had lost his memory.
Taking pity on him, Linlang kept him on as a waiter and named him Goudan. She even secretly used the jade token at his waist to pay for his medicine.
Strangely, ever since Goudan started working at the tavern, business had been getting better and better. The customers were all well-dressed officials and noblewomen.
As the tavern's earnings grew, Linlang was so happy she could wake up smiling from her dreams. She began planning to hire a cook, take on a few more waiters, and, best of all, put Goudan on a pedestal!!
.
Prince Ning had fallen for another man's wife. He had finally waited for the husband to die, but the woman had fled far away from the capital.
Ning Chao refused to give up and chased after her. But the young widow was extremely guarded. He tried every trick in the book and still couldn't get close to her.
In the end, he listened to his subordinate's terrible suggestion and disguised himself as a fool to sneak into the tavern.
But then he heard the young widow spinning a tale: "Your name is Goudan. You used to work here as a waiter, but you fell and hurt your head while buying wine. Don't worry, just rest and recover. As the tavern's owner, I'll make sure you're well looked after..."
The young prince was speechless, dark lines appearing over his head.
