The very first second Bai Que sees Gu Cinan, he wants to eat this human who buttons his uniform all the way up to his Adam's apple.

Bai Que tries again and again, but can never fill the void left by his inability to eat Gu Cinan.
Later, he finally finds a good solution...
Bai Que keeps his hands behind his back. His fingers are long and slender, and sticky blood still clings between them.
Blood spatters half his face. His black hair, matted with blood, sticks to his pale jaw.
"Nanci, I don't know why he was hiding under the bed. He scared me so much X﹏X"
Bai Que looks so distraught that it breaks your heart.
"Don't be scared." Gu Cinan immediately reaches out to comfort him, only then realizing that Bai Que has somehow grown taller than him.
He turns to look at the corpse beside the bed.
Aside from the ones hiding in the closet, the bathroom, and behind the curtains... this is the third one hiding under the bed.
Bai Que really is incredibly beautiful, enough to set one's imagination running.
But there's something strange about him, though Gu Cinan can't quite put his finger on it.
"Gulp."
In the quiet, Gu Cinan seems to hear a deeply satisfied swallow.
Just as he tries to listen more closely, Bai Que lowers his head and buries his face in the crook of his own neck, sounding utterly pitiful.
"Cinan, I'm so scared. Will you stay with me tonight?"
Gu Cinan nods and gives Bai Que a comforting kiss.
But he doesn't see his lover lower his head, his beautiful face splitting into a grotesque, slow smile.
