It took Duan Shi eighteen years to make his way from a small town to a first-tier city.

He longed to become a successful person. After graduation, he wanted to settle down in a big city, find a beautiful wife, and have a child with her.

To make this dream a reality, he decided to take an unconventional route and get close to the “gay” professor his seniors talked about.

Unfortunately, the professor and Duan Shi weren’t in the same department.

So

When the professor taught a class, Duan Shi skipped his own major’s lectures to sit in.

When the professor went out, Duan Shi did everything he could to run into him and fuss over him.

When the professor went home, Duan Shi pretended to love studying and showed up with questions he’d bought for three yuan apiece from a certain secondhand marketplace.

Through Duan Shi’s efforts, he successfully turned the professor into his boyfriend.

The professor was seven years older than Duan Shi, always indulged his every request, and would give him the stars if he asked, but that still didn’t stop Duan Shi from privately thinking he was old.

With graduation approaching, the professor made an exception and shared some of his resources with Duan Shi. This earned Duan Shi his first big payday and made him financially independent.

So, without hesitation, Duan Shi dumped the old man. He even brazenly declared that the man was not only old, but useless in bed, and absolutely revolting.

After moving to a new city, Duan Shi found himself a new boyfriend, a sweet young pup who’d just started college. Duan Shi was really into that type.

The pup arranged to meet Duan Shi over the weekend. Duan Shi happily agreed and showed up on time.

But when he opened the hotel room door, the person sitting inside was the old man he’d dumped.

The professor sat on the bed, the light falling beside him and making his already inscrutable gaze even more oppressive. “So this is what you like?”

Duan Shi panicked. This clearly wasn’t a legitimate hotel.

“I didn’t, no, this isn’t a place I booked.”

I only wanted his money. I didn’t mean to risk my life...

With his legs turning to jelly, Duan Shi instinctively swallowed the rest of that thought.

“That’s all right. I can give you everything you want.” The professor grabbed Duan Shi by the back of his collar and pinned him against the wall.

Duan Shi shook his head, firing off one denial after another. “No, that’s not it. I don’t like that.”

“Good boy. Now let’s get one thing straight: who gets to decide whether you like it?” The professor bit Duan Shi’s lip until it drew blood, then murmured, “Now it’s your turn to show me what you can do. After all, I’m the old man with no conscience you were talking about. Isn’t that right?”
