How Can an Immortal Survive in Mihua Town?

[The story has drifted from the main plot, so I recommend buying one chapter at a time and dropping it whenever you like] [Also, check out my completed novel: Can Police Androids Fall in Love?] Hasegawa Chizuru died. Then came back to life. She became one of only 47 “demi-humans” in the world. No, make that 48 now. Sounds pretty lucky, right? Unless you’re hunted by various factions and turned into a research subject. Hasegawa Chizuru silently vowed to take this secret to her grave. But Why is it so hard to hide your identity in Beika Town! First, she had to do everything she could to avoid murder cases, so she wouldn’t inexplicably end up as a victim. Then she had to dodge all the sudden bank robberies and bombings. Most importantly, she absolutely could not die! About 1.3 million people die in traffic accidents worldwide each year, but in Beika Town, an average of 1.3 people are murdered every day. Even if this is a game, that’s an honor from the start! And why does everyone around her have such dangerous jobs! Her big sister is the captain of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Traffic Mobile Unit. A traffic cop... That’s not too bad... Her second brother is in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Bomb Disposal Unit. That... is way too dangerous... Her first friend is a detective in the Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division, facing the front lines of crime every day... At least her second friend is just an ordinary corporate drone. Chizuru feels especially safe when she’s with her. But then one day, her friend says, “Chizuru, I became an assassin!” Hasegawa Chizuru: … Hasegawa Chizuru: Is it too late for me to move somewhere else? 1. She must die completely for her ability to revive to activate. Revival isn’t instant and takes time, and she remembers the pain of dying. 2. The heroine is an ordinary person, and even with her ability, she’s still a total coward. 3. I’m trying hard to make this funny, so the logic has died. Theme: Every effort you make will be rewarded in the future.
