A Gentle Dream (Song Xi X Tang Chuan)

The boldest thing Song Xi ever did was transfer schools for a boy,

just to be a little closer to him, to sneak a glance at him.

The boy she liked was named Tang Chuan. He was tall, with a sun-kissed complexion and a broken scar between his brows.

He was the top dog at the vocational school,

a delinquent and a nobody in the eyes of teachers and students.

He was someone everyone else went out of their way to avoid, but to Song Xi, he was her very own hero.

On a rainy day when she was sixteen, she hid in an alley and cried, hugging herself.

Only Tang Chuan happened to pass by and give her an umbrella,

granting her a tender dream she would never wake from for years to come.
