●Also known as The Lotus Turns in the Wind
●A story about a sweet, delicious girl and a pale-skinned man who's dark inside
The reason this sinister powerful official is so twisted is that his first half of life was full of hardship.
He lost his parents young, and his family fortune was stolen.
The once-noble young master, who had lived amid luxury, fell from the clouds into the mud,
and could only fight stray dogs for scraps in the streets and alleyways.
His only aunt wanted nothing to do with him. When he came to her door, she insulted him and drove him away with a basin of dirty water.
That alone would have been enough.
But ten years later, he made a comeback and became a powerful official with sway over the entire court. Everyone who had once bullied him paid the price, one by one!
His aunt's family was so terrified of retaliation that they pushed their own daughter forward, hoping to strengthen their family ties through marriage.
Zhu Yinyin is the cousin they pushed forward :D
What can Zhu Yinyin do, after going from a couch potato to a pretty airhead who's unambitious, busty, and not very bright?
Of course, she can say one thing and mean another, and focus on being a good cousin.
She wraps her arms around the powerful official's and simpers, "Cousin Wei Gong, I didn't mean to~"
Wei Hong: "...That character is pronounced Hong."
Zhu Yinyin: "..."
Zhu Yinyin's secrets to a long life:
1. It's good to be a cousin. Be a good cousin.
2. Cousin is always right ^_^
3. Cousins are not allowed to kiss!
Wei Hong's work mottos:
1. For murder and arson, ask my cousin.
2. My cousin is pretty.
