[Coming Soon]
Yu Gong Zhuyin had been blind for nearly twenty years. When she heard about a virtual-reality game that opened up a second world by linking to the brain, she applied for a playtest spot.
The good news: the VR game really could let blind people see.
The bad news: the playtest machine malfunctioned and exploded. She couldn't even remember how she had died, let alone how she had transmigrated.
So she always thought that waking up at the Butterfly Mansion was part of the game's story, that being chosen by the Sound Hashira as his Tsuguko was the beginner's quest, that wielding twin blades would activate the rhythm-game System, and that fighting NPCs was combat training...
It wasn't until the girl, who had only just started learning to use a sword, was pinned to the ground and beaten in turn by the NPC's three wives that she finally realized this VR game...
Why was there no exit button!
Sound Hashira: "You're already about to cry? If you've decided to be my Tsuguko, then get up in a dazzling fashion and grip those twin blades!"
Yu Gong Zhuyin: Can I still change my mind?
Aboard Mount Fujikasane, she met a boy with hair as dazzling as flames. Together, they traveled the path of slaying demons, a road paved with the corpses and blood of their companions.
The boy became a young man, then a Hashira, while it seemed that Yu Gong Zhuyin was the only one left behind.
During training, she overheard a fellow Hashira talking about her. "What I admire most about Zhuyin is that no matter how many times she's knocked down, the light in her eyes never goes out."
Hiding in a corner, Yu Gong Zhuyin nearly cried with frustration. That wasn't some light that never went out. It was the endless stream of "miss" messages flashing in the rhythm-game System!
But she would grow stronger for the people she loved in this cruel world, cutting through every miss with her twin blades, just as she cut off the demons' heads.
At the end of a pitch-black nightmare, could there be an orange-red owl?
[Please note before reading]
1. Demon Slayer, but with a rhythm game for slaying demons.
2. Expect out-of-character portrayals and lots of headcanon. The heroine is a stubborn, growing girl who holds a grudge against demons and saves plenty of people from death.
3. One-on-one romance, happy ending. The romance should be a slow burn.
5. If any of the above bothers you, please leave. No writing advice, thank you for cooperating.
6. Good luck and smooth sailing. I'll start posting when I have 60,000 words banked or enough followers.
Theme: Work hard for a bright future
