A Bad Seed in High Society

[Expanded synopsis with added character details and plot]

Meng Xihan never acted like she knew she was his lover. Whenever Ying Hexun got too rough, she would slap him, then pout and complain, "You hurt me."

A flash of surprise crossed Ying Hexun's eyes. He gripped the girl's chin between his fingers and laughed in disbelief. "Did I raise myself a little princess, hmm?"

Meng Xihan realized what she'd done and was terrified. She quickly wrapped both arms around Ying Hexun's neck and leaned in to kiss him, her voice trembling. "No, no. I'm your lover."
