As the Empire's third-highest-ranking general, Dante thought of himself as a tough, no-nonsense soldier who deserved a good wife. He never expected that one mission to an ancient planet embroiled in war would leave him unexpectedly pregnant. It wasn't until he went into labor that he discovered the thing in his belly wasn't a tumor, but a baby.
He had no idea how he'd gotten pregnant. While his comrades fought the enemy outside, he spread his legs in the woods and gave birth to a bawling, hungry infant.

Three years later, Dante was sent back to the ancient planet. Suddenly, a fragment of memory came to him: he had fallen into a crowd of thousands, surrounded by corpses and severed limbs...
Dante's face turned ashen. He suspected his daughter was a ghost. Before he could investigate, the planet's communications failed, and the entire world sank into a dense fog. There, he found a man with long, curly hair, a deathly pale face, and unnaturally red lips, like a beautiful ghost.
He looked exactly like Dante's daughter.

Zhen was picked up by Dante. He hardly spoke, but whenever anyone got close to Dante, the next day they'd either be vomiting and sick with diarrhea or badly injured and unconscious.
Dante thought Zhen was just like his daughter, sweet and obedient, and considered him a temporary comrade. He didn't know that in the middle of the night, Zhen would climb on top of him, wrap his long hair around Dante's limbs to tie him up, bite at his skin, and pierce his body.
Dante also didn't know that the innocent, beautiful man he imagined was the one with blood all over his hands.
