The Empress's Diary Is Being Livestreamed to Future Generations

Every educated woman knows of the female emperor of Jiang from a thousand years ago. Though she ruled as emperor despite being a woman, none in all history could match her achievements.

But she had one enormous stain on her record: she doted excessively on the demon consort Yun Xi.

Because of this, she could only rank second on the list of history's greatest emperors, much to the dismay of countless people.

Then the emperor's tomb collapsed, and her diary was found.

The Kingdom of Jiang

Feng Zhao had been terribly frustrated lately. She wanted to make her darling her empress, but a group of old ministers were willing to die protesting against it.

If they kept opposing her, Feng Zhao decided she would have them all beheaded.

The court was as noisy as ever. Feng Zhao looked at the chancellor and decided he would be the first to go.

Just then, the sky split open, and a gigantic screen appeared out of nowhere.

A lively young woman waved hello to everyone. The first thing she said was, "Come on, everyone, let's go dig up the tomb of Emperor Feng Zhao!"

Feng Zhao burst out laughing. The ministers were terrified to death.

At the same time, the demon consort Yun Xi jerked her head up. What was that? A fellow transmigrator?

Entry One in the Emperor's Diary

Today I went out to play cricket and saw someone beating a child. I wanted to go watch.

Then I heard a young woman inside say, "Touch me and I'll assassinate the Crown Princess tomorrow. Do you think your whole clan can survive that, old man?"

I felt terribly wronged. If she wanted to get her whole clan wiped out, why not assassinate my father? Why kill me?

Then I saw the woman's face. Kill me? I'm strong and healthy. If one stab isn't enough, you can stab me again.

[Notes]

1. This blurb was posted on 2025.05.13.

2. The story has two timelines: one when the female emperor has ascended the throne and is preparing to appoint an empress, and one when she has just gone out to play cricket. The two timelines run in parallel.

So you can see the two versions of the emperor on the scrolling comments calling each other shameless, and watch the emperor's ministers regularly lose their composure and expose each other's secrets. Plenty of amusing gossip all around.

3. A lovesick female emperor x a clear-headed transmigrated woman who falls into love

Theme: The world is vast and wondrous; women deserve a broader horizon
