"About my brother may be a devil but it doesn't matter"
——"After all, it makes sense for a brother who appears suddenly to have demonic attributes."
Something went wrong in Tim Drake's life when he was seventeen years old:
1. He discovered that he had a biological brother (Bruce: "Uh, I forgot to mention...")
2. This brother's name is Robert, and he lives in Arkham (general ward, not the point)
3. This brother may not be human (evidence: he gets a rash when holding a cross, but he can bend a crowbar with his bare hands)
The most outrageous thing is——
Everyone in Gotham knows Robert ("that handsome guy who always comes to fix the church windows?")
Everyone in the Bat family knows Robert ("You mean the Arkham autistic guy who blew up Arkham and took off my cape and said I wasn't Batman?" - Dick couldn't complain.)
Only Tim doesn't know ("You hid this from me for seventeen years?!")
"The good news is," Bruce whispered outside the door, "he's easier to work with than Jason."
"The bad news," Dick added, "is that he now wants to be your legal guardian."
Tim looked at Robert's newly repaired Robin uniform and then at the blueberry muffins he had brought.
... Well, at least this brother can cook.
("Wrong point!" The demon screamed in Robert's head.)
So Tim Drake is left with just one small problem: His brother might not be an ordinary person.
But Tim decided not to dig into it because—
1. Robert's waffles cure post-night patrol hypoglycemia (and clown phobia).
2. He always stands in front of Tim when fighting (although he will also mock the enemy for failing in his tactics).
3. Easier to deal with than Damian, the devil kid (at least you won't put laxatives in his coffee).
"So, does it matter what my brother is?"
Tim thought as he bit into his muffin.
——Until one day, he found a note in Robert's Bible:
"Contract Supplementary Terms: If Tim Drake is harmed, this agreement will immediately expire."
... Well, now he has to rethink this.
("Don't think about it," Constantine said as he passed by. "Satan will shake his head when he hears about your family's problems.")
