[My first attempt at getting back into writing, and I also didn't prepare enough before starting. The outline was incomplete, and it became clear I didn't have enough control over the story. Although it's finished, the whole story drifted away from what I originally wanted to present. Some kind readers also said the plot was a bit messy, so I've decided to make major revisions. Don't read it yet.]
Bad ending / plot twist
On the eve of Qixi, Song Xing went out at Chen Jia'an's invitation, only to find the person who invited him chatting animatedly with another man in a booth.
With a cold expression, he walked over and sat down across from them, glaring at Chen Jia'an with a dark look.
One minute, two minutes...
Until the singer onstage had finished an entire song.
"Chen Jia'an." The man finally couldn't take it anymore. His voice was low and carried an unmistakable pressure as he forcibly interrupted their conversation.
He patted the seat beside him. "Come here."
Chen Jia'an fell for a man.
After winning him over, he accidentally discovered his secret.
Many years later, a corner of the room still held a stack of handmade color cards.
Time had passed, and the colors had faded.
As light rippled across them, fresh ink covered the faded cards.
With swift, flowing strokes, someone wrote: sky blue after rain.
Plot twists / no cheating. The blurb only hints at the story for a better reading experience. (Also because I'm terrible at writing blurbs, sorry.)
Both are each other's first love; both are virgins / Bad ending
Contains fictional elements; everything serves the plot, so please don't overanalyze.
