Song Zhenzhen transmigrated into a book.
She became an unremarkable passerby in an old-school Mary Sue novel.
In the original story, the poor but resilient heroine draws everyone's attention the moment she enters the aristocratic academy.
She even wins the favor of the all-powerful F4.
And Song Zhenzhen is... the academy's dormitory security guard.
Song Zhenzhen: “...”
Damn it! She could've been a PE teacher whose classes got canceled all the time. At least she'd have had housing included!
The System, pulling its hair out, flips through the rulebook. “Sorry, student-teacher romances are prohibited these days.”
Song Zhenzhen resigns herself to putting on a security uniform and starting her life as a dormitory guard at the aristocratic academy.
And so the students, who'd always looked down their noses at everyone, slowly realize that things at the academy have changed.
This aristocratic academy used to be a dark jungle hidden beneath an elegant facade.
Bullying and abuse were everywhere. The vulnerable scholarship students could only become playthings for the aristocrats to hunt.
But then, one day...
The department head's son, who'd shoved a broken bottle into a scholarship student's mouth to torment him, is dragged by his long hair into a public restroom in the middle of the night.
The heir to the special forces commander, who pushed a classmate off a high-rise, is knocked out and tied to the district flag, with a recording of the dead student shoved into his mouth.
Even the decadent F4 gatherings can no longer casually shove scholarship students into the pool for fun.
Because you never know when you might be next in line for payback.
The aristocratic academy is suddenly on edge, with everyone fearing for their safety.
Even the Alliance and the Elder Council begin investigating.
Song Zhenzhen also slowly realizes that the nature of her job has changed.
...It's turned yellow.
She goes to the dorms to check for contraband.
But she sees the refined, gentle son of a financial magnate, F4, casually undoing a few buttons on his shirt, revealing a broad expanse of pale chest, then accidentally spilling red wine on himself.
She goes to the music room to collect some cardboard boxes to sell.
But she accidentally catches F3, a genius from an artistic family, drugged and leaning back against the piano with his hair loose. He lets out an involuntary moan and meets her gaze through the window with watery eyes.
...Damn it, he got her cardboard boxes all wet!
She goes to work delivering packages.
But she runs into F2, a former king of mercenaries, being hunted. For some reason, the assassin runs away the moment he sees her.
All that's left is the badly wounded F2, bleeding in her arms. He insists on going to her place, abs and all, and makes her promise to take care of him.
Their eyes linger on her, full of desire.
Only one person remains clear-headed, restrained, and lofty.
Until one day, Song Zhenzhen goes to the isolated dormitory at the far end of campus to spray for dengue fever.
There she sees the aloof and noble Crown Prince F1, who isn't wearing his buttoned-up military uniform.
Instead, he comes out casually wrapped in a bathrobe.
Song Zhenzhen: “...”
Let's just destroy everything!
Can we even still have a constitutional monarchy or not?!
