The Mad Villain I Wrote Wants to Win Me Over?

As an up-and-coming fantasy novelist, Xie Younan wrote the script for the massive full-dive game Eternal Realm, creating its most compelling villainous boss, the demonic lord Yin Feiye.

Born in a frigid prison and raised amid the flames of war, Yin Feiye endured seas of blood and mountains of blades before becoming the demonic lord feared throughout the Three Realms. Cruel and sinister, ambitious and obsessive, he loved the female lead, Ye Wei, so deeply that he slaughtered the Three Realms for her, only to meet his end in madness!

On the game's public launch day, players wept over the tragic end of the powerful yet pitiful villain. Xie Younan, however, tapped away at his keyboard without a care. It was all just a carefully crafted murder mystery he had scripted.

Until a massive surge of energy breached the server, every light in the city suddenly went out, and a bolt of lightning split the rainstorm.

As Xie Younan went downstairs to buy a late-night snack, a bone-chilling cold abruptly crept up the back of his neck.

Then a deep, resonant male voice sounded above him through the rain. "My Lord, I've found you."

He turned around to see a man dressed in black stepping out of thin air, a demonic flame flickering between his brows.

The temperature plummeted. On that bone-chilling night, the only warmth was the man's breath against his ear. He smiled ominously. "Have you thought about how you'll repay your debt?"

Could he still run for it?

The villain he wrote had actually come into the real world to kill him!

At that moment, mountains crumbled and tsunamis surged; the sky seemed to collapse upon him.

Yin Feiye wiped the blood from his lips and forced himself to raise his shattered sword. He refused to submit to fate. He would break free of these iron chains!

At the last moment, he used the demonic energy he had left to tear open space itself.

But he had never imagined that the all-powerful Lord who controlled his entire life, the force he could never defy, would be a frail, powerless human youth.

Looking closer, though, he saw that behind those peach-blossom eyes, which seemed to yield and play the victim, the corners were slightly raised, concealing an innate defiance.

Yin Feiye's pupils contracted dangerously, and his demonic energy surged.

The violent shockwave swept toward Xie Younan, whipping his hair into a wild mess. He didn't dodge.

"You want to kill me." Rain slid silently down his lashes, which trembled ever so slightly.

"Now that you know your world is a script I wrote..."

Surrounded by roiling demonic energy, Xie Younan spoke so softly his voice was almost drowned out, as if sharing a secret meant only for the two of them.

"Have you ever considered that this very thought of yours is part of my script...?"

He raised his eyes, smiling as though he knew something. "Are you sure you want to act that out for me?"

The demonic lord was taken aback, and his killing intent abruptly froze.

Well, this was interesting...

Xie Younan looked calm as a rock, but inside he was frantically reviewing the plot: the demonic lord had a tragic childhood and roamed the streets, then as a young adult was exploited by his sect like a 996 wage slave, and even his romance had turned into a spy drama!
