Rin's personality is absolutely awful. He has a lot of flaws, and he's mean and loves putting on an act, but he'll gradually get better ^^
There isn't really a process of falling in love. Rin falls in love at first sight, then falls even harder at the second, and is instantly attracted by Sugawara's looks. He confesses in the first chapter, then keeps confessing and getting rejected ^^
The only goal behind everything Rin does is to date Suga.
