Yu Zi has always had a crush on someone, but the other person is an Alpha and he is a beta. He thought his unrequited love would never come to anything, until fate brought them together again. His beloved told him that being a beta didn't matter, because he loved betas.
Yu Zi thought his crush had finally come true and that a happy future awaited them. But just as he and his beloved were enjoying their sweet romance, another Alpha friend began acting strangely.
After witnessing his beloved on the brink of death, Yu Zi was devastated. “Alphas should be matched with Omegas.”
His friend said, “I agree, so why don't you become an Omega?”
Yu Zi stared at him in disbelief. “No. Why should I become an Omega?”
His friend replied, “I'm an Alpha. If you become an Omega, we can be together.”
Yu Zi thought his friend had gone mad. “Why would I want to be with you?”
His friend looked at him darkly. “Because you have to become an Omega. I'm an Alpha, and Omegas should be matched with Alphas.”
