What exactly is a so-called genius?

Someone whose life seems to be set to Easy Mode, who succeeds effortlessly and becomes one of life's winners?

An enviable and envied being whose words and actions, though never meant maliciously and made in the belief that they are perfectly ordinary, still hurt ordinary people?

A creature who is hard to approach and understand, always keeping to themselves and drawing a line between themselves and others?

A true genius does not think of themselves as a genius.

For a true genius, using their inborn talent is as ordinary and unremarkable as a bird beating its wings to soar through the sky or a fish swishing its tail to roam the ocean.

A true genius is so clever, so powerful, that the world seems crystal clear and everything within easy reach, making everything in it seem dull and boring.

In a boring life whose end is visible at a glance, genius meets genius meets genius, and their lives change as a result.

Geniuses can also long for what they don't have, and for the thrill of challenging themselves to reach higher.

Geniuses are only ordinary human beings, too.

This encounter gives rise to promises, blessings, and bonds.

What exactly is the relationship between Nagi Seishiro, Kita Chiyoko, and Mikage Reo?

Partners? Friends? Family? Lovers? Something else? Any of those?

Important feelings layered together are both zero and everything.

Whatever feelings they have for one another will be accepted.

Whatever feelings they ask of one another will be answered.

Their bond is solid, pure, passionate, inseparable, and warm. They are certain that how important they are to each other will never change.

Content warnings before reading

Blue Lock is the main focus. The female lead is a super-genius who isn't an athlete. If she doesn't come across that way, that's entirely the author's fault.

I'm a Nagi fan and I also love Reo. Whether you ship the Blue Lock characters as friends or as a couple is your own choice, and both deserve respect, but please don't ship the male Blue Lock characters in this romance novel. Thank you.

The pre-White Room plot focuses more on Nagi, the White Room arc focuses more on Reo, and during the Blue Lock arc the female lead is a programmer who keeps everyone happy and wins everyone's affection. She takes a principled stance but is biased toward those close to her. The ending is unquestionably a victory for the White Room duo: a story about how they dote on each other.

Mikage Reo and Nagi Seishiro will each appear as the sole focus of their debut matches. They won't sulk over being separated in Blue Lock, and their skills will improve. In the Adaptability Selection, they'll rank No. 4 and No. 3. Reo will start in the U-20 match and score a goal. Their bid rankings will also both be near the top.

Ego's theories in this story are correct, but not absolutely so. Pure self-interest and putting defense above all else both have their advantages and disadvantages. In my view, football should be freer and more inclusive. Any style, whether it's based on stats, self-interest, ideals, freedom, or teamwork, can be right. Everyone believes they are right, and everyone is different, so they have different ideas. When those ideas clash, something new is born. It would be bizarre and frightening if everyone in the world were the same.

I don't bash any characters. The people in Blue Lock are all simply strong-willed, with their own convictions they refuse to compromise on.

The romance and IF storylines will be in the extras.
