Illym left the Golden City with his younger brother and started a new life in Gotham.

Here, he wouldn't have to punch mysterious robots, kick strange cave explorers, chew on native creatures, or fear curses.

He could enjoy a quiet retirement: scavenging for junk, fishing, trading supplies with friends, visiting the park, and swapping gardening tips with fellow enthusiasts.

Even his good friend had been adopted, and he thought life was only getting better.

Then, in the blink of an eye, news of his friend's death was everywhere...

The good news: He found out who the killer was.

The bad news: His attempt at revenge failed, and he was thrown into Arkham...

Heartbroken, Illym decided to leave this sorrowful city. He broke out of prison overnight and took his younger brother to seek refuge with a certain count.

As everyone knows, when you live in a large family with more than five people, there's absolutely no such thing as privacy.

That fully explains why there was a listening device from Red Robin in Red Hood's safe house.

Tim had noticed Red Hood's strange spending records, but wasn't reflecting on his actions at all.

So the whole Batfamily knew that Red Hood had gone to a pet store in Chinatown, Los Angeles. They even made a group chat about it, which very obviously did not include Red Hood.

Not long after, Red Hood found the listening device and moved out overnight.

To show his brother how much he cared, Nightwing brought Red Robin along to secretly install another listening device, and walked right in on Illym, who was living in the safe house.

Seeing Illym in a little girl's outfit, rubbing sleep from his eyes, Dick began to doubt what he was seeing.

Dick: Huh? Jason, is this the pet you're keeping? Is this right?

And what was Tim doing?

Tim said nothing, just kept taking pictures.

Dick: Is my brother into furries? (Cosmic cat-face)

Red Hood, newly returned from hell, went to Los Angeles to investigate an incident. He never expected to rescue an old friend he'd not seen in years along the way.

Looking at the contract in his hands and his friend, who hadn't grown up at all, he fell into deep thought.

Later, when he saw Illym's human face and height, Dick fell into deep thought, too.

Dick ventured a guess: "Loli-con?"

Jason, whose reputation had just taken a hit: "Get lost..."
