Gotham.
The hometown that every Gothamite dreams of.
Seraphina Hope was no exception. She had escaped, but when she retired from the Quick Travel Department, she still chose to return to her hometown—bringing with her the same famous vest system that she had retired from.
As a result, people in Gotham spread word that there was a group of crazy women acting as vigilantes at night.
She is Scarlett, with her green dress swaying and gunfire singing. She chuckles in the fireworks: "Land is the only thing worth fighting for."
She is Milady, as graceful as a rose and as sharp as a dagger. Machiavellianism is her weapon and poison is her language.
"Violence is proof of weakness."
She is Tess, her white dress is stained with blood, and her smile under the garland is innocent and cruel: "If I lose you... Then I will have nothing."
Serafina worked hard, beating Arkham violently, and fighting with someone secretly.
When she left Gotham, there were no bats flying in the night sky. When she returned home, bat wings stretched from the Diamond District to Gotham Bay.
"How interesting."
Seraphina thought.
But she wasn't worried about Batman's investigation. He couldn't possibly treat an ordinary best-selling author, an ordinary visiting professor at Gotham University's School of Liberal Arts, as a vigilante who dressed up as a famous character at night.
Serafina is even more worried about Bruce Wayne.
They seemed to be somewhat interested in each other.
