Swordmaster

The Jingxue Sword is a divine blade once hailed as the greatest sword under heaven.

Its blade seemed dyed the color of snow, and with the slightest motion, snowy light danced through the air. A flash of blood appeared, and it claimed lives without a sound.

But now the divine sword has fallen, its radiance gone. It is nothing more than a pile of scrap metal, not even worth a beggar's notice.

Jingxue woke from her slumber and heard a man sigh softly. "Don't be afraid. I've found you."

Jingxue remembered only his long fingers stroking her battered blade, washing away the grime that covered her, and treating her with boundless tenderness and care.
