When 15-year-old Nanami Mingyuan led her friends to enroll, she was forced to blow up the school. With her money powers and her friends' supernatural abilities, she formed a bond with several teachers at the technical college that was as unbreakable as Orichalcum.
At 16, Nanami Mingyuan stood barely over five feet tall, squeezed between two friends who were as tall as telephone poles. They walked around together, and if anyone dared look down their nose at her, her friends would punch them so hard their noses burst.
At 17, Nanami Mingyuan was well versed in business operations. To support her two friends, who were like walking money pits, she planned to make a fortune from the tech products under her company.
At 18, after suffering a devastating blow, Nanami Mingyuan took career advice from her unreliable teacher, the bureau chief. She gave up science for politics and literature for military affairs, working diligently her way up from the grassroots. At last, she blew up a troublemaker, and before going abroad for further study at 21, she gave the Jujutsu Society's exhausted workers and future recruits something to look forward to.
Some of the setting incorporates elements from the later part of the Dr. Stone manga. The main plot of Jujutsu Kaisen won't be followed, and I won't force it in. The story mostly takes place after a certain classmate defects and before Itadori swallows the first old-fashioned finger.
※The story opens with a flashback and is divided into one or two volumes. Volume One covers events happening in the present (the ending), while Volume Two covers events from the past (the beginning). My writing skills are limited, so the timeline may feel quite jumpy. Please bear with me.
※As for romance, I'm here to write about friendship and bonds! The protagonist, Nanami Mingyuan, has no CP. There is an unrequited crush, but it's a bystander → Nanami Mingyuan. Her friends will have romantic partners, and there will also be unrequited crushes, but those are side characters → her friends.
The teachers will have their own romantic histories, but there won't really be any romance arcs, just emotional bonds, including but not limited to friendship, teacher-student relationships, and bonds between colleagues... (Only in Volume Two.)
The three geniuses at the technical college get a youthful, angsty bond arc. A genius's pride is bought with stubborn denial. On the premises that Geto has sins to atone for, Shoko has a score to settle, and Gojo has classes to attend, the story puts the technical college's genius trio through the wringer (not really). (Only in Volume Two, though the results appear in Volume One.)
The trio's pasts include made-up events. Warning: two of the three will have melodramatic backstories and graphic descriptions. If you don't like melodrama or bloody scenes, you're out of luck. (Only in Volume Two.)
A one-line summary of the emotional dynamic between the original characters and Nanami's trio: You're my master, but you're not my master; you're my subordinate, but not a subordinate. Is what you eat even fit for a human? Was your brother actually killed by a human? What you made wasn't even made by a human? You three are so bizarre, but someone's got to love you... Anyway, you three are definitely here to cause trouble, aren't you? (Only in Volume Two.)
So what is Volume One even about?!
Basically, it's a story about geniuses who don't believe in love and ordinary people whose only redeeming quality is love meeting, changing, and continuing to live their lives to this day.
Those who stayed behind were changed by certain people and events. Maybe they are doing better, maybe worse, but whether they feel sorrow or joy, their lives will keep moving forward.
Thank you for reading so patiently.
