Yi An was kidnapped and, in a daze, overheard a family secret. After escaping, he found a ring left behind by his ancestors.
The world changed. One bout of extreme weather after another struck, and meteorites from outer space brought new threats. Humanity faced a struggle for survival.
The meteorites brought radiation, but also a glimmer of hope. People from different worlds received the same invitation. Were those chosen fortunate or doomed? As they transmigrated through one apocalyptic world after another, where could humanity turn?
Yi An opened a micro-space, but was brought into an apocalyptic survival game to gather energy. He transmigrated through one space after another and undertook one dangerous mission after another. He saw twisted hearts and ugly faces. Could he hold on to who he was, or would he become someone else?
More and more people entered the apocalyptic survival game. During his third mission, Yi An ran into someone he knew from his original world. Assassins hunted him in the real world and in the game world. What was all this for? Who could he trust? Who was controlling the apocalyptic game?
He would have to uncover all the mysteries himself.
Jiang Lei found more and more mysteries surrounding the child he had brought home: sudden injuries, brief disappearances followed by reappearances, and eyes watching from the shadows.
Until one day, an electronic voice rang in his ear.
This story is set in the world of Reborn in a Happy Farm, a romance novel I wrote a long time ago. It only borrows the setting, so you can read this without knowing that book.
Reborn in a Happy Farm was one of my earliest books. I'd even forgotten about it until a reader left a comment recently, reminding me of the story I'd written back then. After finishing it, I had an idea: what would happen to the protagonist's golden finger after she died? In that book, I had the protagonist divide her golden finger space into five parts and give one to each of five children. Maybe the first and second generations could keep their secret safe, but what would happen after two or three generations?
This book grew out of that setting. Yi An is a descendant of the protagonist from that book, but several generations have passed, and even he doesn't know how any of this happened.
Recently, I also felt like writing an apocalyptic story, with all kinds of natural and man-made disasters. I wanted to explore human nature, survival, and the struggle to stay alive in the apocalypse.
It's been a long time since I wrote a pure romance. This is a strong-couple story, and though our Yi An looks sweet and well-behaved, he's a force to be reckoned with.
Theme: When the apocalypse comes, humanity struggles to survive in the face of disaster
When will it be updated? How long do we have to wait? [Heartbroken][Heartbroken][Heartbroken]
Come on! The subject matter is very good, and it's best to update it daily!
Is it the wrong update? The content is wrong.
From now on, if we enter a world with treachery, the thousand-year-old peach tree will be very useful.
It's the second update, why haven't I updated it yet?
Newbies all have ordinary bodies, it's terrible
Players who feel like the game system wants them to die more
The ring space is a small planet
It seems that the game is also very attractive.
If the ring doesn't make the owner's genes stronger, what does it want to do?
