2. Pei Jinyue really is a little scumbag at first. Later, she nearly fails to win Ji Wanmian back, turning the story into a real chase-the-wife-to-the-crematorium scenario. Ji Wanmian is a bit of a lovesick fool at first, but becomes completely clear-headed later, so there's character growth.
3. There is a big gap in family background. Pei Jinyue is a wealthy heiress.
4. One-on-one romance. The characters are not perfect.
