This was a disaster.
An Le was his younger brother from their parents' blended family.
And the look in An Le's eyes clearly said: I don't accept you as my brother.
An Sijia resigned himself to his fate and turned to walk toward the other guests.
He went left, and An Le blocked his way on the left.

For the cameras, An Le acted completely harmless. Off-camera, he forcibly took his brother's hand and squeezed it so hard his knuckles stood out.
"Why don't you guess?"
Halfway through filming the dating show, An Sijia, who had been (forcibly) paired with An Le, couldn't take it anymore.
An Le kept saying off-camera that he didn't accept An Sijia as his brother, yet in front of the cameras he kissed and hugged him.
Finally, one late night, even though the cameras were definitely off, An Le was still kneading his waist with just enough pressure. An Sijia finally snapped.
In a fit of anger, he got angry for a moment. "Lele, you were the one who said you never wanted anything to do with me again."
An Le slowly fell silent, not saying a word.
An Sijia froze for a moment and looked down.
An Le pressed his lips together as tears fell one by one. "...Bro."
An Sijia couldn't stand seeing An Le cry. His brain stopped working, and the words came straight out:
"All right, stop crying. I'll let you hug me, okay?"
An Le finally looked up. His tears vanished in an instant, but his hands didn't stop moving.
"It's true I don't want to have anything to do with you as your brother."
"But I've been fantasizing for years about having some other kind of relationship with you."
*Bonus Scene
During an interactive segment one day, the host asked:
"Who was the first person you ever fantasized about dating?"
Before the host had even finished speaking, An Sijia saw An Le's gaze drifting toward him out of the corner of his eye.
An Sijia felt a jumble of emotions. Later, he secretly asked An Le, "When was it?"
An Le's honesty was a little terrifying. "When you were practicing your basic skills and I was helping you stretch your legs, I did that."
An Sijia still saw his younger brother through the filter of innocent, carefree youth.
He didn't understand, and frowned. "Did what?"
An Le smiled with an utterly innocent expression. "Come closer and I'll tell you."
Afterward, An Sijia was completely exhausted and gritted his teeth.
"Couldn't you have just told me with your mouth??"
An Le raised his eyebrows in delighted surprise. "So you like that. I'll remember."
An Sijia: ...

2. This story fills in a gap in the same series as the adjacent "Heavy Snow Today" (find the "Lost Fragrance" series in my author's collection). Shui Shui and Xiao Xi will make brief cameo appearances.
3. An Le is a crybaby, though nine times out of ten he's doing it on purpose to make his brother go soft.
4. An Le is completely in love with his brother, and An Sijia completely spoils his younger brother. They're a perfect mutual match.
