The New Team Doctor Is a Little Strange [Esports]

After this year's Abyss season ended, the ASP team was bought by a company that had never worked in the gaming industry before.

The new company was incredibly generous. It signed new players, moved the team to a new base, hired a nutritionist, and provided a professional operations team, top-of-the-line equipment, and a team doctor specializing in sports medicine.

Li Mingshu, an ASP player, once led her team to a stunning comeback victory and a championship title. Unfortunately, years of overtraining took their toll. In the very year fans thought her glorious career was just beginning, a serious hand injury forced her to retire, turning her into a brilliant but short-lived shooting star in league history.

Unwilling to leave the arena for good, she chose to step behind the scenes as ASP's head coach. But the harsh realities of the team's finances left her no room to put her many ideas into practice.

Then, in the spring when she was about to give up hope, a ray of light shone on the ASP club. The new owner was very generous, but had one condition: she wanted to bring in someone as the team doctor.

Li Mingshu assumed the owner was trying to find something for an incompetent relative to do, until she saw the doctor's impressive resume

Zhu Yuan, an outstanding doctoral graduate of Huadu University, recipient of a national scholarship, and published researcher in prestigious journals, with her most influential paper scoring an impact factor of over 16...

Why would someone so beautiful, with such a bright future ahead of her, willingly bury herself in a tiny club? No one could figure it out.

When Zhu Yuan was little, she had a childhood sweetheart. Later, the wealthy Zhu family found her and took her home. She and her friend cried as they parted, promising never to forget each other.

As an adult, Zhu Yuan was drawn to a dazzling figure on the competitive stage. It was none other than the childhood sweetheart she had thought about all these years. After going to great lengths to join her friend's team as its doctor, she discovered that her friend had no memory of her at all.

Unwilling to be forgotten by the person she'd cherished for so long, Zhu Yuan went to her room one late night wearing a black silk slip and knocked on the door.

She leaned lightly against the doorframe, her eyes curved in a bewitching smile as she openly flirted. "Coach, would you mind if I came in for a chat?"

Li, Coach, Earnest Advice Version, Mingshu: "Doctor, staying up this late is bad for your health. You're a doctor yourself, so how could you forget that? Also, are your eyes bothering you? Why do you keep blinking?"
