[Beautiful gong. In this setting, as asuras grow stronger, they grow more beautiful. The gong is the strongest asura.] [Strong shou. Strong in both body and mind, tall and lean, with the kind of build that looks slim in clothes.]
[Second-person, gong's perspective] [Love at first sight] [They dote on each other] [No misunderstandings from beginning to end] [Fictional world with a touch of fantasy]
[Strategist (asura) gong x prince shou] [Gong pursues shou]
A pure-love story about a former ancient god and asura whose ideals were shattered, who suffered grave injuries and slept for a long time, then returned to life and amused himself in the world. He takes on the guise of the scholar and strategist Changyi Jun, Qi Yungu, a man too weak to carry a load or fend off a blow, and falls in love at first sight, then all over again, with Quan Hua, a marginal prince born under an ill-omened name but raised with excellent manners and sound principles. He works tirelessly to win his beloved's heart, and together they find the strength to rise again.
And a postscript set after the ending:
[Poor Yi Yuan has to watch them show off their love, then dutifully stay behind to clean up the mess someone left behind.]
[Some unimportant details about what happens afterward. For example, Quan Hua, after ascending the throne, uses various occasions as an excuse to appoint Yi Yuan as Imperial Preceptor and make Qi Yungu a prince of the first rank, with the same status as the emperor. He even gives him a residence inside the palace, making the rumor that Qi is serving his sovereign with his looks absolutely true.]
[Disguised Qi x Gu: (smiling) What? How did you know I serve my sovereign with my looks? (Quan Hua, also in disguise, drags him away as they go out for a stroll.)]
