Harry Potter: Hufflepuff's Sea-Salt Fairy Tale

When the Little Mermaid from a fairy tale falls into Hogwarts.

[Dual male leads, proceed with caution if this isn't your thing]

[Emil (bottom) x Cedric (top)]

"Don't be afraid. I'll keep holding your hand until you learn to run on two legs."

Emil is a naturally airheaded merperson from a fairy-tale world. Thanks to a glowing pearl, he somehow ends up in a strange new world.

Now he's facing the biggest crisis of his fishy life:

1. His tail has turned into two strange "land limbs." Great Sea King, humans actually use these to walk!

2. He seems to have gotten lost in a strange world, where someone has taken him away and shut him up in a place called a house.

3. Worst of all, the food on land is so delicious that he might betray the ocean!

Cedric finds an unconscious blond boy by the lake in the forest behind his house. Beneath his damp eyelashes are eyes as clear as the ocean.

And just like that, a little merperson from another world tumbles into his life.

Over the next year, Cedric has to:

1. Teach this boy named Emil to talk and walk, and not to eat goldfish raw. ("Those are pets, not food!")

2. And... why does he keep stuffing pearls into Cedric's pockets?

3. Deal with Emil's increasingly dependent gaze and his own increasingly unruly heartbeat.
