The Brooding Prince Won't Leave Me Alone

[Marriage first, love later; a gloomy character; secret identities and two-faced personas; a short story of thirty thousand words. A confident beauty of the capital adored by countless men VS a powerful, voyeuristic, gloomy, perverted prince]

"Wan'er, forgive me for disturbing you. Please don't be afraid. I mean no harm. I once heard people praising your beauty, and fell for you at first sight in a restaurant. I think of your face day and night, tossing and turning in sleepless longing. Today you're wearing a pale green dress, and you look so lovely. I want to hold your graceful figure tight and kiss your sweet, soft lips. I'm sure they'd taste sweeter than sugar."

After Huan Wan'er married a prince from a powerful family, she began receiving anonymous letters from a pervert every few days.

Troubled, she told the prince, but all she got in return was a cold, impatient look.

"It's a trivial matter. You don't need to tell me. The manor is guarded, so he can't hurt you."

She possessed a beauty that could stir the whole capital. Sadly, her husband had no interest in her at all. On their wedding night, he would rather sleep in his study than touch a single hair on her head, leaving her alone in their bridal chamber.

The next day, servants changing the clean sheets secretly laughed and gossiped about her where she couldn't see.

How could a woman with such peerless beauty fail to win her husband's heart?

Used to being praised by others, she felt her pride in ruins. Disheartened, she decided to divorce him.

But one day, she saw the prince, who had seemed so indifferent to her, in his study, clutching her missing bellyband as he indulged himself. His head was tilted back, his face drenched in sweat as he panted her name...

"Ah, Wan'er, I want you..."
