Serpent Gu, Buddha's Heart

The snake demon Yin Xuanlin settled in Lin'an City to save his carp little sister. He fed on evil people and boosted his cultivation by absorbing the vital essence of men.

One day, a handsome blind monk happened to visit his apothecary.

The monk had a strong Buddhist affinity. Eating him would greatly boost his cultivation.

The monk was so good-looking that Yin Xuanlin felt a little reluctant.

But he licked his lips and made a painful decision:

Eat him.

What he didn't know was that the monk was a "Blood-Handed Buddha's Disciple," a specialist in hunting down and exterminating demons.

A Buddhist who slays evil to save it, a killer's Zen disciple gong (Ming Wuchen)

A snake demon who looks on the mortal world with cold detachment, yet follows the compassionate path, shou (Yin Xuanlin)

Also known as "Asura Wisdom King Buddha x Little Guanyin Beauty Snake" ^ ^

Killing one's wife to attain Zen x killing one's husband to attain the Dao. Through reincarnation, they're either fighting or on their way to fight.

*Please note:

The shou eats people (literally).

The gong is an unconventional Buddhist disciple. He has hair and is a monk who hasn't shaved his head.

The gong only pretends to be blind at first. There's nothing wrong with his eyes.
