Top: Huo Chen, a top-tier lyricist and composer, an all-capable older top.
Bottom: Qiao Yuan, a warmhearted, naive college student who wants revenge but targets the wrong person, then falls irretrievably in love.
Qiao Yuan is 21 and studies literature at Anlan Comprehensive University. He also works part-time as a trainer at a gym near the college town.
He has an angelically pure face and a muscular build that is very attractive to other men.
Nine years ago, though, he was a violinist pursuing a career in music.
At a youth competition, top-tier lyricist and composer Huo Chen, who was one of the judges, mercilessly crushed his musical aspirations.
"You have no spark. This road ends here. The best you could ever hope for is to become a music teacher. You're eliminated."
Nine years later, Qiao Yuan has changed completely, but he has never forgotten Huo Chen.
He knows Huo Chen lives in a villa district near the college town. He also knows Huo Chen goes to the gym three times a week to fight his depression, working out until he's utterly exhausted.
He knows Huo Chen's favorite pavilion on the hill, and that Huo Chen loves the tea eggs at the Hunan restaurant on Snack Street and the jasmine milk green tea at Baisen Tea.
He even knows Huo Chen has a library card for Anlan Comprehensive University.
Most importantly, Huo Chen is attracted to men.
It's time to show him what revenge means.
Become his muse, make him fall hopelessly in love, then dump him without mercy and ruin everything he has.
Huo Chen: Let me explain. The depression was an excuse to dodge the new-generation idols who kept pestering me to write songs. The milk tea was for cultivating a gentle public image. Besides, darling, I was at the height of my fame eight years ago, and every variety show I appeared on paid two million. How could I possibly have been a judge at a primary school competition?
But I really like your revenge plan. You can be even more ruthless.
Theme: Face your feelings honestly.
