Blurb One:
Ilex is a player, and his gameplay is... especially weird.
Not everyone would do the things he does.
For example,
stealing every Batman doll in an entire store just to trade them for cute pink outfits;
painting the Batmobile's wheels rainbow colors, with glow-in-the-dark paint, so they'd sparkle while Batman chased criminals;
robbing the Joker and taking him to Wayne Tower to toss him in the air;
spinning around and flying while carrying a tiny Robin;
giving away free muscle shirts just like Red Hood's on the street;
Hmm...
Well?
Your new kid?
Batman: takes a deep breath.
Blurb Two:
On his second playthrough, Ilex decides to be a little less bizarre.
But the impression he left on his first playthrough was so profound that his family can't seem to forget it.
Blurb Three:
"He's back! He's back!" Dick complains bitterly. "Just looking at him makes my stomach hurt..."
"I don't want to remember what he did back then." Tim clutches his head, probably because it hurts. "Spinning around while carrying Damian, for example..."
"Tt." Damian takes a step back.
Jason hasn't come home. He lies sprawled on the sofa, ignoring the messages on his phone.
Sweet little Brucey can't manage a smile.
Blurb Four:
On his second playthrough, Ilex decides to
act like a good kid.
Content warning: OOC and out-of-character behavior. This is a lighthearted, ridiculous story that puts everyone through the wringer. There may be dark humor (?).
I started writing this on a whim, so I can't avoid leaving some foreshadowing unresolved.
Sorry.
