Synopsis
Wen Zhixia has had a crush on Qin Yuchuan for ten years.
From the height of summer when she was sixteen, when he stood in front of her and drawled lazily:
"Didn't you hear her say she wasn't willing?"
To their arranged marriage at twenty-six, when he looked up at her, a cut at the corner of his mouth:
"Miss Wen, long time no see."
Her heart clenched.
For ten years, every New Year, she wrote him a greeting card:
"Happy New Year, Qin Yuchuan."
Not one of them was ever sent.
Her friend asked why she didn't confess.
She said, "A secret crush has no postal code. There's nowhere to send it."
Later, Old Master Qin arranged a marriage between them.
On their wedding night, Qin Yuchuan handed her a contract:
"We'll get divorced in a year. Don't get too caught up in the role."
Wen Zhixia nodded.
She thought: At last, I have your address.
Too bad the recipient had long since moved on.
On the day they divorced, she left behind an iron box.
Inside were all the greeting cards she had never sent over the past ten years.
Every one said:
"Happy New Year, Qin Yuchuan."
Qin Yuchuan read them one by one, then frantically searched for her.
Afterward, every New Year he mailed a card to the same old address.
The recipient's name was Wen Zhixia (Secret Admirer).
The post office returned every single one.
Address unknown.
The postal code for her secret crush had finally expired.
