The Arkham breakout game had once again been cleared by the lunatics in an absurdly convoluted way. "When can I finally put a whole magazine into each of these crazies?" Jason thought as he and the rest of the Batfamily tried to stop the asylum's inmates from escaping.

A towering, pale monster with a serpent's tail and folded arms rose from beneath Arkham, surrounded by gloomy, bony claws.

The superheroes and supervillains fighting tooth and nail: ?! What the hell is that?

The battle between the factions suddenly turned into a boss fight. Jason stared in shock and confusion as tentacles that looked like maggots swept toward him. Then, during the split second he lost focus, the monster disappeared. All that remained was a ruin melted by fire and a crowd of stunned heroes and villains staring at him.

Jason: ? Who did that?

The heroes and villains around him: (staring, )

After it was all over, Jason discovered a red-haired ghost with a blurred face floating beside him, visible only to him.

Jason: Have I finally gone crazy?

From then on, Jason spent his days looking after a ghost.

1. Tarnips is extremely handsome, with a face that inspires total confidence. He looks cocky, but is actually sunny and cheerful.

2. The story is told from Jason's perspective. Tarnips might get chapters from his perspective later (maybe?).

3. At first, Tarnips can't and won't speak. The couple communicate entirely through telepathy.

4. There is a city-spirit setting, but not much of it.

5. Tarnips is very strong, but Jason is a Ghost Rider :)

6. As they fight monsters and level up, Tarnips will gradually gain a physical body, but he and Jason can touch each other from the very beginning.
