I Cosplayed Dan Feng, Transmigrated, and Successfully Ascended the Throne [Honkai: Star Rail]

[My profile also has a no-couple upcoming story of the same type: Cosplaying Yanqing and Getting the High-Cloud Quintet's Happy Ending. Come see how a reborn player makes the High-Cloud Quintet Great Again!]

[Synopsis:]

Hello. First, a quick introduction.

I used to be a lowly medical worker at the Alchemy Commission on the Luofu. After I was killed in one blow by a Disciples of Sanctus Medicus... I somehow transmigrated to the modern world, where I made a living cosplaying the popular character Dan Feng.

Wait, you're saying Dan Feng doesn't count as a "popular character" at all? He's actually a top-level criminal who brought chaos to the Luofu, and a key figure in the "Five People, Three Prices" story?

Sorry, I don't know anything about that. I'm not one of those gossipy Vidyadhara elders. I'm just an ordinary wage slave...

Anyway, long story short, I thought I'd be on top of the world as soon as I transmigrated, since I'd grown up steeped in novels like Reincarnated as XXX, Now I'm Invincible.

But fate kicked me straight back to the Luofu.

This time, though, I was completely bound to Dan Feng's High Elder form. I couldn't even pull off the wig, and I could use "Azure Dragon Cleansing the World" to flip a Vidyadhara elder into the river in a second.

I couldn't help shouting, "The cosplay became real!"

Well, that wasn't a big deal, since in modern society, nine out of ten cosplayers transmigrate, and they can even transmigrate while cosplaying together with friends who were dancing to anime songs on the same stage. Nothing unusual about that.

The real problem was that I hadn't even walked a few steps down a street on the Luofu when a group of Vidyadhara started chasing me, shouting in unison, "We welcome the High Elder home!"

Home to which residence?

I looked, and after a string of very colorful Xianzhou curses, it was the Seat of Divine Foresight!

Jing Yuan grabbed my hand and insisted on handing me the Luofu to manage. Fu Xuan tugged on my dragon tail and asked me to plan the Divination Commission's work for the next three thousand years. The gates of the Ten-Lords Commission stood wide open, with judges and scribes lining the way to welcome me and thank me for coming to offer guidance...

Me: Seriously? You're really choosing me?

Those conservative Vidyadhara elders, who wanted to tear Dan Heng (Dan Feng) limb from limb and condemn him to the eighteenth level of hell, were so furious their faces turned green. They shouted, "Outrageous! Outrageous!"

Unfortunately, everyone else ignored them.

Jing Yuan, Fu Xuan, and the Marshal: Please ascend the throne, High Elder!

Me: Am I dreaming?

Everyone: No! No! It's real!

Today is a beautiful day.

And the Luofu has fallen into crisis once again.

Fortunately, besides transmigrators who cosplayed and transmigrated like me and have given up trying, countless characters from the original work are doing their best to save the world. But this disaster is unusually "targeted."

So General Jing Yuan, the eternal god of the people of the Luofu, gives me an expectant look. "The Xianzhou is counting on you now, friend."

Me: "There's a line I've just thought of. I wonder if I should say it?"

Jing Yuan smiles serenely. "Go ahead."

Me: "There were five people, three had to pay the price... Jing Yuan, you aren't one of them!"

Haha, just kidding.

Actually, I'm... the sun that will surely rise?
