Chi Yan had seen the desolate beginning of spring, when everything seemed lifeless. She had seen the deep spring, when things gradually grew and delicate blue-green flowers bloomed. She had even seen spring die.

Song Lingwen's eyes shone brightly. Whenever she looked at Chi Yan, they held a smile, like snow and ice just before they melted in spring.

But when everything was finally about to get better, the spring in Chi Yan's life ended at the age of eighteen.

One night, Chi Yan woke from a nightmare and found a pair of eyes gazing intently at her.

"...How can I get Song Lingwen back?" She wasn't surprised. She simply asked the question.

Song Lingwen stared at Chi Yan, then suddenly grabbed her by the throat. A fervent kiss wrapped around her, bringing the thrill of suffocation.

"If you want to save me, then give yourself to me."

Her body rose slightly with the frantic pounding of her heart. Chi Yan held Song Lingwen's head in one hand and answered with a feverish kiss.

"...I love you."

She gave herself to her, willingly offering everything:

"I'm yours."
