After Failing to Escape Volleyball

My name is Kirishima Ima. I just won the Italian High School National Volleyball League with my team and took home the Best Outside Hitter award. I was on top of the world. Maybe my dazzling performance caught the eye of the national youth team coach, who was rather fond of growing a beard. He enthusiastically invited me to join the U20 team. I'll admit volleyball is fun and exciting, but wouldn't that mean I'd have to play volleyball for the rest of my life? I don't want that! But countless people believe my talent will surely bring me success, and say I should stay in the volleyball world and shine. They're so annoying. I quickly applied for my school's exchange program, packed my bags overnight, and fled Italy. * A super-talented player has joined Aoba Johsai's volleyball team. On his first day, he stunned the entire team with spikes that flew like bullets from a gun. Unfortunately, the genius is as icy as he is difficult to approach. But before long, they watched the volleyball team's daily routine turn into this: "Ima! Stay after practice and train with me again today!" "...Sure." Huh? Everyone gaped at the genius, who agreed obediently despite clearly not wanting to. Was this really their captain and setter, who always hated geniuses, and that cold genius? Everyone marveled: Who would have thought the two people who seemed least compatible would get along so well... After Aoba Johsai won the national championship, a reporter asked the captain, "How does it feel to make it to nationals and win in your final year of high school?" The captain paused, then smiled. "It feels like a miracle that fell from the sky." After the interview, Kirishima Ima came up to him and whispered, "Senpai, you're the miracle yourself." [Before you read] 1. The protagonist is an outside hitter, and the pairing is with Oikawa. 2. It crosses over with two other anime, but they don't take up much of the story. 3. The protagonist has an absurdly powerful golden finger and the greatest talent in the story. 4. Aoba Johsai will keep winning. 5. There are original elements. Sorry for any out-of-character portrayals. Theme: Fearless youth, with no regrets.
