Spring Moon

Blurb:

April, the month when the peach blossoms first bloom.

Jinghe University has a peach grove, and every April it bursts into a beautiful sea of blossoms.

Springtime Wilderness is an immensely popular wuxia novel. To make the fight scenes in the peach grove more realistic, the production crew came to Jinghe University.

The weather was lovely that day, with bright sunshine. Shu Ya left her dorm to collect survey responses about Valentine's Day. When she reached the peach grove, she saw a crowd gathered around the production crew. Unable to squeeze through, she turned back.

Just as she reached a bend, a breeze sprang up. She could still hear a few fans cheering nearby. Then a figure slowly appeared before her: tall and slender, with a face as lovely as spring, refined brows, and an elegant air, like a peach grove in full bloom.

A beautiful face reflected among peach blossoms, she thought.

As Sheng Xiao passed her, Shu Ya brushed the hair from her ear and smiled brightly. "Hi, I'm Shu Ya, an English major in the Class of 2021. Do you have a moment? Could you fill out a survey for me? And could I get your contact information?"

Sheng Xiao silently watched the cheerful young woman, then took her pen and filled in the answers.

When he finished, the director called to ask why he still hadn't arrived.

"I'll be there soon, Director. Just finishing a market survey."

Only then did Shu Ya realize he was an actor. She froze on the spot and apologized profusely.

Sheng Xiao waved it off. "It's fine. I'm just a nobody actor."

The next time Shu Ya saw Sheng Xiao was when the show aired. He had only a few minutes of screen time, playing a random passerby... number four.
